Some doctors recommend taking vitamins A and E according to the tradition that has developed since the seventies when trying to conceive a child. Unfortunately, modern studies have shown that this practice only harms the health of the expectant mother. Too high levels of vitamin E in the body can cause the development of preeclampsia in a pregnant woman, and in a child provoke the appearance of heart disease. Too high a concentration of vitamin A causes a teratogenic effect, that is, a violation of embryonic development.
