How to cook lean oatmeal patties


Oatmeal cutlets can be cooked for breakfast instead of the usual cereal on a regular day. If you want to serve a dish for lunch or dinner during the post, then include champignons or seafood in their composition.

Lenten oatmeal patties

This dish is cooked with wild mushrooms or champignons. For taste, you can add a little fresh herbs, hot peppers or chopped garlic.

Recipe:

  1. Pour boiling water over oatmeal for 30 minutes, then drain the liquid.
  2. Crush mushrooms, grate potatoes and onions on a coarse grater.
  3. Mix products, add salt and spices.
  4. Blind round or oval cutlets, roll them in flour and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.

Serve with fresh vegetable salad and ketchup.

Oatmeal Cutlets Recipe

The hearty dish is suitable for the fasting menu.In addition, it can be prepared for breakfast or afternoon tea.

Ingredients:

  • oatmeal flakes - 3 glasses;
  • water - 600 ml;
  • soy sauce - 120 g;
  • olive oil - 90 g;
  • onions - 2 pcs .;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • walnuts - 50 g;
  • sugar - 30 g;
  • marjoram - 7 g;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Recipe:

  1. Crush the onions and garlic, then fry them until transparent. Pour into the pan soy sauce, add salt and spices.
  2. Pour the oatmeal into the onion sauce and mix the ingredients. Pour in water, remove the pan from the stove and close it with a lid.
  3. After 10 minutes, mix the swollen oatmeal with chopped walnuts.
  4. Blind 30 small meatballs and roll them in flour. Fry the billet until cooked.

The dish goes well with vegetable cutting and pesto sauce.

Oatmeal cutlets with potatoes

Ingredients:

  • oatmeal - 200 g;
  • champignons - 3 pcs .;
  • potatoes - 1 pc .;
  • water - 100 ml;
  • onions - 1 pc .;
  • vegetable oil - 60 g;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • dill - 0.5 bunch;
  • salt and spices - to taste.

Recipe:

  1. Fill the flakes with boiling water, close them and leave for 30 minutes.
  2. Grate the potatoes and onions, cut the mushrooms, dice the garlic through the press, and chop the greens.
  3. Mix the oatmeal with the prepared ingredients, add salt and spices.
  4. Form 10 meatballs and fry them until golden brown.

Serve hot patties with stewed vegetables.

Oatmeal is often used for the preparation of lenten dishes. They help to “glue” the ingredients, make the stuffing uniform. Oatmeal cutlets can be not only fried, but also baked or cooked in a double boiler.
