Cut clean dry tomatoes into four parts, clean the seeds. Spread the pieces on the baking tray laid with baking paper tightly to each other, always in one row. Season with salt, sugar, herbs and butter. Cook in the oven with the door open at a temperature of 60−70 degrees for about 6−8 hours. We put dried tomatoes in a jar, pouring dried herbs and garlic cloves (2–3 per jar). Fill with oil, close and store in a dark cool place or in the refrigerator.
