Angelina Jolie will star in a gloomy thriller about a single mother
There have been rumors that Hollywood producers have put Angelina Jolie one condition that she must fulfill in order to continue her career: to gain weight urgently and get rid of the painful thinness. But apparently, this is just a rumor: the other day it became known that Angie approved the prominent American writer James Scott The Cept for the main role in the film adaptation of the novel (and she, among other things, agreed to become the producer of the film).

According to the plot of a rather gloomy work, which takes place in the state of New York in 1897, the heroine Jolie works as a midwife. One day, returning home in the evening, she finds a husband and four children dead. Survives only 12-year-old Caleb, who sat out in the pantry while his family was killed, and driven by despair, mother and son are sent through the snow in search of the killer to take revenge.
The story came to Angie's liking, moreover, now she is closer than ever with her adopted son - 16-year-old Maddox, who after the divorce of his parents assumed the role of head of the family. So it will be easy for her to get used to the role. The screenplay for the film will be written by Alice Birch - the author of the new film version of “Lady Macbeth” (not Shakespeare's adaptation, but the one that was authored by Nikolai Leskov). Who will sit in the director's chair is not yet clear, but Dan Friedkin and Bradley Thomas from Imperative Entertainment (All World's Money) will be helping Angelina produce. We are waiting for news and the first trailer!
