RatedAcetaminophen Caffeinefor MigraineReport

Not for severe migraines I tried this when I started having daily migraines several years ago. It never even touched my pain (was having daily severe migraines), but quickly caused rebound headaches that took me a while to get out from under.

Excellent...but will cause rebound This stuff can work very well for many people if used once in a while, but it has a bad reputation for causing rebound headaches. Do not use this medication on a regular basis! However, if you have a very minor problem with bad headaches, this is probably the med for you! Honestly, if a bad headache or migraine is just something you get once in a while, I would have this stuff on hand. Especially if you do not have a prescription that has been given to you by your doctor. But the bottom line is that if you have a chronic migraine or headache problem, doctors say you should avoid Exedrin and meds that have caffeine in them. In addition, if you have a severe migraine...Exedrin is probably not going to work anyway. I have a major migraine problem and try to avoid taking it. I greatly limit my intake since since I know rebound is a risk for me. I have prescription medications that are always my FIRST choice. Please talk with your doctor. Oh, and it can cause some stomach upset so if you can, take it with a little food.

thank god for excederin This really is the "headache medicine" I take the aspirin free Excedrin. I usually take nothing else when I feel an headache or migraine coming on. This medicine has helped me tremendously unless I am hit with a brutal migraine attack. Then I must turn to Imitrex or a trip to the hospital. Excedrin is a must have.
